Families and residences living in our communities are desperated looking for additioanal agro education to improve thier farming productivities, as well as thier qualities of products. They make their voices heard and  we felt the pain of farmers, small stakeholders, and farming communities; and we have seen the real eyes the living situation of farmers and residents of communities. Adults are leaving their hometown to find employment opportunities in city and out of country. They were calling for help really bad to improve their living and farming situation.

On December 19, 2013, an outcome of a meeting with co-founders, farmers’ community partners, and small stakeholders in Takeo Province, were an agreement to set up the Agricultural Cambodian Community Development Association.  During the time, we drafted a constitution for the association, developed organizational structure, executive committee, and board officers; and then sent a request for approval form the Ministry of Interior of Cambodia.

On January 08, 2014, we received a letter of approval from the Ministry of Interior to officially form the association.

On February 17, 2014, we received a letter of approval from the Chief of the Department of Takeo Province to official set up the first operation office.

On February 26, 2014, we received an official letter of Memorandum of Agreement from the Department of Agriculture of Takeo Province to cooperate the work effectively.

The Takeo Province consists of 10 districts, 100 communes, 1116 villages, population of 978,639, and 199,111 households. We are assisting and providing services to 57 communities, which is about 20 percent of its communes; we are preparing to set up numbers of communities in entire of Takeo Province.
